Associate - Ventura Sawyer
With over seventeen years' senior level experience in business transformation and change, Ventura has made substantial contributions in the area of cultural and strategic business change; designing change processes, leading change programmes, building project teams and managing client relationships.
Ventura designed and led the implementation and delivery of change processes for one of the largest business transformation programmes currently running in the UK. Working with over 400 people from senior and customer-facing teams during a two year period, these change processes radically transformed their culture. The success of this approach in the areas of IT implementation, acquisitions, mergers and culture change has led to business with companies such as National Savings, Siemens Business Services, Barclays and IND. The result has been a tangible increase in these organisations' capacity to achieve their business change objectives and solve operational problems.
Previously Ventura spearheaded the development of an Executive Coaching Programme for Clark Whitehill Consultants, as part of their overall change offering.
Ventura implemented and managed a business mentoring programme for Business Link London City Partners (BLLCP). This programme coached managing directors assisting them in improving their profitability by up to 30% and generating over half of the BLCCP branch revenue within a six-month period. Change projects include the restructuring and separation of the BBC's Design Group and developing and delivering a national call centre management restructure for British Gas. For EMI, Oracle and Orange, Ventura facilitated change programmes for senior managers.
Ventura holds a first degree in Philosophy from London University and is currently researching a Doctorate (DBA) on the Human Dimension of Business Transformation. Trained in Psychosynthesis Counselling at the London Institute, Ventura led the training of professionals on Surrey University's Human Resource Potential Programme. A member of the Institute of Management Consultants, Ventura also gained a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. She was elected to the Board of the Prince's Youth Business Trust in 1996
