Tom Davies

Tom was born in Aberdeen in 1940 and has many years experience as a consultant and educator in management and social responsibility, the management of change, managing diversity, and mentoring. He has been an accountant, a civil servant, a local economic development officer and an academic. He has worked on managing change consultancies in the UK and abroad, particularly in Hungary and the Balkans. Tom is a Director of The Centre for Mentoring and Coaching Ltd.

Tom's mentoring experience has included working with mid-career managers in local government, central government, and voluntary as well as private sector organisations. He has also worked with international organisations in the private, intergovernmental and non-governmental sectors.

Tom specialises in working with issues of diversity and difference, including the management of organisational and personal conflicts focused around racism, sexism, disablement and homophobia and with emotions in the learning organisation.
