Royston John

Royston worked as a senior manager in local government for over 20 years before becoming a management consultant. The breadth of his experience includes human resources, finance, performance management, service reviews, public speaking, setting up and managing a black workers' group and organising a conference for 800 people.

Royston has focussed on mentoring for over 15 years and has supported clients both in, and out of, the working environment. These include chief executives, senior and middle mangers, secondary and primary school children. In addition to mentoring, Royston continues his organisation change functions, with a strong focus on the well-being of the individual.

Royston's interest is helping individuals and organisations understand and develop fresh thinking to achieve. Achievements range from quality of life to bottom line objectives. His focus on diversity planning and training ensures people remain at the centre.

Royston's clients, past and present, includ local government, probation service, crown prosecution service, police, NHS trusts, and the voluntary and private sector. This includes working with large city-based financial organisations.

Migrating from the exotic island of Grenada nearly 40 years ago, Royston lives in London with his wife, 5 adult children and a cat. The activities of a lively and varied household keeps him focussed on the world around him and the issues that are important for members of every decade.
