Director - Deborah Clarke

Deborah Clarke

Deborah is a Chartered Psychologist with a background in Organisational and Counselling Psychology. She has over 20 years' experience in training and consultancy, both independently and as a member of a range of consultancy firms. She established her own consultancy practice in the mid-1980s called LifeChanges. Her work with LifeChanges is concerned with helping individuals manage major change and transition in their lives, either at the workplace or in the more personal areas of their lives. Deborah is a director of The Centre for Mentoring and Coaching Ltd.

Over the years Deborah has focused considerable energy on working with diversity issues at work and endeavouring to help organisations become more family-friendly in their practices. The current focus of her work includes a passion for helping individuals become aware of, and open to, the possibility of living their values in their life and their organisations.

Deborah is presently engaged with exploring how to live her own values in her work and life. This means she is actively involved with environmental issues, and helping organisations become socially responsible places. As she is going through a major shift and reorganisation of her working practices, she has reduced her work commitments to enable more space for herself, her relationships and physical activities such as walking on coastal paths and mountain tops - and in order to develop her understanding of Buddhist philosophy. She has warmth, humour, and a genuine interest in people and their well-being. She works with integrity and is open to exploring the spiritual dimensions of her clients’ lives. She aims for simplicity in all things.
